This guy isn't just Tea Party, he's...well, watch the videos! My god.

P.S. Also see E.W. Jackson: Gays and Lesbians are 'Very Sick People Psychologically, Mentally and Emotionally', E.W. Jackson: Pro-Gay Rights Liberals 'Have Done More to Kill Black Folks' than the 'Ku Klux Klan', and E.W. Jackson: Democrats Have an 'Agenda Worthy of the Antichrist', just to get a flavor of where this guy's coming from.

Victoria Jackson (0.00 / 0)
It's really hard to believe Victoria Jackson's show is not a "Saturday Night Live" skit. Who watches this stuff?

and this is a guy with 2 degrees from Harvard (0.00 / 0)
just like Mitt Romney

He went to Harvard Law

He later went to Harvard Divinity School

But when he ran in primary for US Senate last time, he got only 5% of the primary vote.

He will have relatively little appeal in the African-American community

one wonders how many of the racists will be willing to vote for him.

That said, he almost makes Cooch look and sound sane.

DPVA: "It's Official: Republicans Turn their Backs on Mainstream Virginians " (0.00 / 0)
From the Democratic Party of Virginia:
It's Official: Republicans Turn their Backs on Mainstream Virginians

Richmond, VA - Democratic Party of Virginia Chair Charniele Herring released the following statement responding to the conclusion of the Republican Party of Virginia convention, at which Ken Cuccinelli, E.W. Jackson and Mark Obenshain were nominated for statewide office.

"Today Virginia Republicans sent a clear message to every Virginian who will choose our next Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General: Ken Cuccinelli's extreme agenda is more important than what's best for your family.

"At a time when Virginians just want government that's focused on jobs, education and transportation, Republicans nominated a candidate in Ken Cuccinelli who is more focused on banning birth control than on mainstream Virginia priorities. They then filled out the ticket with two candidates who will be reliable foot soldiers in Cuccinelli's quest to inject his extreme agenda into decisions that women make with their doctors.

"This year's election will present Virginians with a clear choice between a Democratic vision for more jobs, good schools and the transportation system our economy needs and the Cuccinell-Jackson-Obenshain agenda to roll back the clock on women's health and turn our government into a hotbed for Tea Party extremism."

He is not extreme....for a tea party candidate (0.00 / 0)
How is he extreme compared to the other republican candidates? Name one issue where he differs? He clearly is the brightest and most well-spoken of the bunch.  The republican establishment is apoplectic because he is an outsider and he has no experience as an elected official. It'll be interesting to see how Jackson handles the fact that Cuccinelli did not support him at the Caucus.  Conflict between the two would be a huge boon to Dems.

That  was the lesson to be learned  today.Im Jewish,  and was offended  by this     person.    The GOP  does not want to advance     Virginia    ,  they want to carve up the spoils.     They are on record  as   saying I shoud  die rather than  get     hep c   drugs        that I can actually afford.(  19ooo$  !!)  a month.

I can't find any info from IRS about S.T.A.N.D (0.00 / 0)
Checking the Guidestar database for non-profits, including C4 and 527 organizations, I cannot find any record of this organization having filed as a non-profit with the Feds. His STAND donation page does not claim that he is non-profit, so there may be no violation of law. But more work needs to be done to find out about this organization.

Which Commandment is that? (0.00 / 0)
The story about reading the Bible cover to cover while in college in the 2d video, and then being converted, was quite moving.  But by the evidence of the 1st and 3d, all of them really, he seems to have missed that part about bearing false witness.

Not having read the Bible in its entirety, but just having chunks of it summarized for me by the good nuns in grade school, I can't help the Bishop with exactly where they talk about bearing false witness.  But I'm pretty sure the Bible is agin' it.  And I think it's one of those Ten Commandments, if that will help the Bishop locate the passage.

I'm not trying to embarrass the bishop about having to look something up, even though it's knowledge that would be expected in his profession.  I have to look stuff up all the time, because many of my patients present problems I don't see every day.  But the temptation to tell lies is something I have to face down every day, and I imagine that being a politician and bishop would create even more daily temptation to tell lies than being a doctor.

There are some things you really shouldn't have to look up, Bishop, and the Commandment that you not tell lies ought to be one of those things, since most people, even those of us who haven't read the Bible cover to cover, already know that.
