Mike Huckabee Not Running: What We’ll Be Missing

Mike Huckabee just announced that he will not be running for president in 2012 (“All the factors say GO, but my heart says NO.”). Watch the video above to see what we’ll all be missing. On the other hand, I suppose the Republican’ts have plenty more theocrats in their party (e.g., Rick Santorum), along with the Tea Partiers, climate science deniers, xenophobes, homophobes, Islamophobes (sensing a theme here? hint: “phobes”), etc. On the other hand, Huckabee actually showed some sense in this video, where he explained that Ronald Reagan would never be elected in today’s Republican Party, as Reagan ” raised taxes as governor, he made deals with Democrats, he compromised on things in order to move the ball down the field…he gave amnesty to 7 million illegal immigrants.” So true. Now, back to the freak show known as the “Republican 2012 presidential nomination contest.”
