Individual Mandate a Heritage Foundation, Gingrich Idea

Mitt Romney made quite a revealing charge against Newt Gingrich at the most recent episode of the never-ending traveling media circus that is the series of Republican candidate debates. Romney forced Gingrich to admit that the concept of an individual mandate for those able to purchase their own health insurance is an idea that came straight from the right-wing Heritage Foundation and, of all people, Gingrich. Of course, Romney also provided more proof that President Obama was absolutely correct when he said the mandate was a conservative idea that Republicans were against simply because he and the Democrats turned it into law. And, he showed once again why he may be the the flip-flop champion of all politicians at all levels of government.
