Willard’s Campaign Admits: Romney’s the “Etch-a-Sketch” Candidate

Wow, you usually don’t hear a campaign spokesperson so brazenly, shamelessly admit that his candidate will just jettison everything he said in winning the nomination and start all over again, like an “Etch-a-Sketch.” Doesn’t this just reinforce the widespread – probably because it’s accurate! – perception that Romney has no core, no fixed principles, and will basically say/do anything to get elected president? Amazing.

P.S. As Think Progress points out, “It’s unclear if Fehrnstrom expects people to just forget some of the fairly radical stances Romney has taken on everything from immigration, to contraception, to climate change, or if he expects the candidate to change his positions on those issues in the coming months – something Romney is certainly known for doing.”
