“Sideshow Bob” Marshall to CNN: “Sodomy is not a civil right”

“Sideshow Bob” continues to disgrace Virginia, this time on CNN’s “Starting Point” earlier today. According to the raging homophobic wacko from Manassas:

Dr. Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks never took an oath of office that they broke…Sodomy is not a civil right. It’s not the same as the Civil Rights movement…There is an effort by homosexual lobbyists to equate [sodomy and civil rights]. That’s wrong. It is a pattern of behavior…He could preside as a district judge for a marriage of two guys if he wanted to, in violation of the law. Remember, it was a single judge in California who was in a same-sex relationship who invalidated 7 million votes out there. Moreover, if you have a barroom fight between a homosexual and a heterosexual, I’m concerned about possible bias.

Well, alighty then! OK, look, we all (except for the similarly certifiable voters who keep reelecting him) know “Sideshow Bob” is a certifiable nutcase. But what about all the other Republicans who voted against Tracy Thorne-Begland, and what about all the cowards who refused to vote at all because they’re terrified of the Family Foundation and other homophobic bigots? Those people are even scarier in some ways than unabashed homophobic bigots like “Sideshow Bob.”
