Dave Brat cosponsored HR 3118, “To eliminate the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection by repealing title X of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, commonly known as the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010.
I guess this is what Brat means by free market–eliminate the watchdog that prevents Wall Street from repeating a 2008 catastrophe. Does Dave want more stock market crashes?
