Del. Patrick Hope’s Ice Cream Social Could Be Your Last Chance to Hear from the Candidates, Vote in a Straw Poll, Before June 13

According to Del. Patrick Hope (D-Arlington), his ice cream social next Sunday may very well be your final opportunity to meet the Virginia Democratic statewide candidates before the primary on June 13, just two days later. According to Del. Hope, Tom Perriello, Susan Platt and Gene Rossi will be there in person, plus surrogates for Ralph Northam and Justin Fairfax. In addition, there will be what Del. Hope calls a “real straw poll,” in that admission is FREE (although, of course, donations of any amount will be gladly accepted at the door, with proceeds going to the House Democratic Caucus to elect more Democrats to the Virginia House of Delegates). Last but not least, Arlington Commissioner of Revenue Ingrid Morroy will be there to sing, along with her group “Dem Girls.” You can enjoy all that with ice cream scooped by Del. Hope himself. What more could you ask for? 🙂
