VA GOP Chair Joins Trump Attacks on FBI Deputy Director McCabe; Tweets Picture of His Family

A few of the responses to VA GOP Chair John Whitbeck‘s disgusting attacks on FBI Deputy Director Andy McCabe (see screenshots below) are worth posting here: 1) “Are you suggesting that being photographed with his family is somehow the same thing as being actively involved in her campaign?”; 2) “You gotta be kidding. Those are family pictures and not violations of the hatch act.”; 3) “I campaigned with Jill & I never saw her husband at any campaign event! Being on a flier is showing family values which ur party only pretends to have!”

More to the point, it’s highly revealing – and definitely not in a good way! – that the chair of the Virginia GOP, John “Anti-Semitic ‘Joke’ Dude” Whitbeck – has now stooped to defending Trump’s outrageous, disgusting attacks on the FBI’s Deputy Director. As former CIA Director John Brennan says, “Andy McCabe & Jim Baker epitomize integrity, competence, and respect for rule of law. Not surprised fears them, along with the rest of FBI.” And as Rep. Ted Lieu says, “I look forward to the day when Andrew McCabe is called to testify publicly under oath about Obstruction of Justice by .”

Whitbeck is evidence that idiocy can be transmitted by Twitter especially by those from the Twitter-in-Chief. Conspiracies covered with slime. Why did Whitbeck omit the usual suspects – Obama and Soros? Gratitude to BlueVirginia for publishing stupidity that we now may ignore and simply chalk up tp the radical right rabies infection.

  • True Blue

It’s no surprise that Whitbeck is confused about what constitutes campaigning and about truth in general. He told us repeatedly that his RPV had the most enthusiasm going into the 2017 elections!

    • As with Trump, if you want to know the truth, you usually can’t go wrong if you just take the 180-degree opposite of what Whitbeck has to say about anything.

      • True Blue

Indeed. It bodes well for Virginians that he’s not stepping down. Ha! His brand of “leadership” will condone these guys – Corey, EWWWW, or Freitas? Whitbeck and Trump sure know how to make Christmas Eve merry.

        • Yeah, I hope Whit-less stays on as VA GOP Chair indefinitely…he’s a gift to Virginia Democrats! 🙂

So the deputy director of the FBI cancels a meeting with Congress then lies to Congress under oath when he finally testifies and is forced to resign for being a crook. And somehow that is ‘attacking’ him?

Of course, none of what you said is true, but, whatever.

I still question why they’re so focused on the FBI deputy director, when it seems that a member of SCOTUS has much more potential for conflict of interest because of his wife, former Heritage Foundation employee and Virginia Tea Partier Ginni Thomas.
