This, in a nutshell, demonstrates several significant and disturbing things: 1) there are a bunch of pro-gun absolutists and extremists out there; 2) virulent/disgusting racism is very much alive and well these days, particularly on the far right; 3) virulent/disgusting sexism and misogyny (“Jenny”???) are very much alive and well these days, particularly on the far right; 4) social media has serious problems, including allowing disgusting spewage like the following comments on their platforms (whether Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, whatever). For what it’s worth, I just want to say to Del. Jennifer Carroll Foy that many of us admire her, respect he, support her, and HAVE HER BACK! If you want to leave a positive/supportive comment for her on her Twitter feed, I strongly encourage everyone to do so. Thanks.
