Video: Virginia House Appropriations Committee adopts amendments to budget/Medicaid expansion bills (5001 and 5002). Keep in mind that we still have a loooong ways to go here, that Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment will have to weigh in and that all this will be negotiated/rewritten. Most likely, I hear there won’t be a final product till May, maybe even early June. Also, it will be VERY interesting to see how Metro funding plays out, whether right wingnut Del. Tim Hugo blocks a REAL funding source for Metro, as opposed to raiding one pot of money (the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority – NVTA) and moving it over to another (Metro). So stay tuned…
