Thanks to DVPA Chair Susan Swecker for this excellent video of all the speeches at Saturday night’s Blue Commonwealth Dinner. Right now, we’ve got the strongest, most progressive Democratic Party here in Virginia that we’ve arguably ever had. In stark contrast, the Virginia Republican Party has become – as Sen.Mark Warner put it – a “Trump/Corey Stewart party,” one which is “no longer the party of John Warner and Linwood Holton, unfortunately.” So that’s what we’re up against, but as you can see from the huge Blue Commonwealth Dinner the other night, we have the strength to fight it and to push a progressive, Democratic agenda forward. Let’s do it!
