See below for video of the Virginia Select Committee on School Safety Recommendations meeting yesterday. Note that recommendations include all kinds of stuff, such as bulletproof “dry erase white boards” (seriously…not joking!), more School Resource Officers, social media monitoring, etc., but NOT A SINGLE WORD on the #1 reason for school shootings – GUNS! Of course, this was a Republican-dominated committee, chaired by NRA-bought-and-paid for House Speaker Kirk Cox (R), so of course they didn’t talk about guns. But still…what a f’ing joke. In 2019, we need to boot all these NRA “A”-rated puppets out of the Virginia General Assembly…
