Here are a few national and Virginia news headlines, political and otherwise, for Saturday, October 19. Also, check out the video of Sen. Tim Kaine yesterday in Arlington “speak[ing] with students, teachers, parents, and Virginia Secretary of Education Atif Qarni about the youth e-cigarette use epidemic.” As Kaine writes, “We need to work together to do everything we can to keep tobacco products like e-cigarettes out of kids’ hands. I’ve introduced a bipartisan bill to raise the tobacco age to 21, and I hope my colleagues will join me to make sure this legislation gets passed into law.”
