With Virginia’s Democratic and Republican primaries and conventions coming up, starting on June 23, which candidates in competitive primaries/conventions are racking up endorsements and which aren’t? Here are the candidates and some of their Virginia elected/former elected official endorsements.

U.S. Senate – Incumbent Sen. Mark Warner (D)
Daniel Gade (R): State Sen. Richard Stuart (R), State Sen. Jill Vogel (R), E.W. Jackson (R), Del. Wendell Walker (R), Chesapeake Mayor Rick West, Del. Terry Kilgore (R), former Rep. Scott Rigell (R), former Rep. Randy Forbes (R). Also, former Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) seems very favorably inclined towards Gade, if he hasn’t formally endorsed him.

Qasim Rashid (D): I’m not seeing any elected or formerly elected officials on his website. Rashid does list several former candidates (Jeff Foster, Morgan Goodman, Stan Scott, Herb Jones – who also served three terms as New Kent County Treasurer) as supporting him. UPDATE: I’m told that Prince William County School Board Chair Babur Lateef has endorsed Qasim Rashid.
