Biden for President Virginia Launches African Americans for Biden Leadership Council to Mobilize Community Ahead of Election
Today, Biden for President Virginia is launching an African Americans leadership council to organize and mobilize African American voters across the Commonwealth.
In May, Joe Biden released his Lift Every Voice agenda to address the issues that disproportionately affect African Americans across America. The African Americans for Biden council in Virginia will serve as a platform to highlight issues that uniquely and disproportionately impact African Americans across the state.
“We are excited to announce our Africans Americans for Biden leadership council to highlight how a Biden-Harris administration will address systemic racism and confront the disparities that affect African Americans here in Virginia,” said Chris Bolling, Biden for President Virginia State Director. “It’s a critical opportunity to engage and energize such an important community in Virginia that has consistently been under attack by the Trump Administration.”
Below is a list of co-chairs of the African Americans for Biden Council in Virginia:
- Senate President Pro Tempore L. Louise Lucas (Hampton Roads)
