Congresswoman Elaine Luria’s Re-Election Campaign Releases Digital Ad on Scott Taylor’s Election Fraud Investigation
Commonwealth’s Attorney: “The entire [Taylor] campaign is under investigation”
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA— Today, the Elaine for Congress campaign announced the rollout of a six figure digital ad buy focused on the investigation into failed Congressman Scott Taylor and his campaign for election fraud.
“Coastal Virginians deserve to know that Scott Taylor will stop at nothing to win an election,” said Campaign Manager Veronica Ingham. “Our district deserves a Representative with character and integrity, who will put partisan politics aside to deliver results. Scott Taylor’s lack of leadership proves he’s unfit to represent us in Congress.”
This week the Taylor campaign sent a cease and desist letter to the Luria campaign over statements surrounding Taylor’s connection to the ongoing investigation into his campaign’s attempt to get third party candidate Shaun Brown on the ballot with fraudulent signatures in the 2018 election. Taylor claims he is not under investigation. However, when Taylor released the cease and desist letter to the local press, 13 News Now reached out to the Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney John Beamer and he reaffirmed the Luria campaign’s assertion that he is still in fact under investigation. 13 News Now reported:
“When asked if Scott Taylor wasn’t under investigation, Beamer said, ‘No, that’s not true. The entire campaign is under investigation.’ Beamer also said more indictments are still possible.”
