IBEW Local 666 Endorses Abigail Spanberger for Reelection
Strong Addition to Long List of Unions Rallying Around the Congresswoman
HENRICO, V.A. — Today, Rep. Abigail Spanberger’s campaign announced the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 666, which represents Virginia workers from industries across construction, utilities, manufacturing, telecommunications, broadcasting, railroads, and more.
“We never have to doubt that Abigail Spanberger fights on the side of working families,” said Charles Skelly, Business Manager, IBEW Local 666. “She recognizes that when workers have the power to stand together and negotiate, we take more home for our kids, have greater access to affordable health care, and receive the benefits of a secure retirement. That’s why she supported the PRO Act, the most consequential pro-worker legislation in decades. IBEW 666 is proud to have Abigail’s back, because she has ours.”
