NEW AD: Billie Jean King Urges Viewers To Join 90 Million Americans And Make A Plan To Vote
Today, the Democratic National Committee released a new digital ad, “History Makers,” featuring history-making tennis player Billie Jean King, who urges Americans who haven’t cast their ballots to make a plan to vote on Election Day. The ad calls on viewers to follow the lead of record-breaking 90 million Americans who have already voted — the most votes ever cast before Election Day.
“We are history makers,” said King in the ad. “Together, we are 90 million reasons a brighter future lies just ahead — the 90 million Americans who voted early, the most votes ever cast before Election Day … Help us make this election have the highest turnout in American history. Be a history maker — vote on Election Day.”
The ad is running on digital platforms like YouTube in key battleground states, including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The ad directs viewers to IWillVote.com — Democrats’ comprehensive voter participation website — to find out more about their voting options and make a plan to vote.
