So, at this point (5/19), in Virginia we’re at 671,325 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 29,339 hospitalizations and 11,048 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases was 491 (+0.1%) in the latest statistics, the same rate as yesterday’s +378 (+0.1%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 49 (+0.2%), compared to yesterday’s +22 (+0.2%). Deaths are reported +6 compared to +13 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 7,285,852 (up 10,765 from yesterday).
