As you can see, total cases hit 1,525,591, up 10,729 since the Thursday morning report and up 118,188 over the past 10 days. That’s significantly lower than last Friday’s 10-day increase of 155,293; has the Omicron wave finally started to decline? As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 47,546, up 93 from the Thursday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,197…and falling). And deaths are at 16,127, up 39 from the Thursday morning statistics.
