Virginia COVID-19 Cases Up 137,551 (!) Over the Past 10 Days; Hospitalizations at Highest Level Since January 2021

See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,186,887, up 10,728 since the Tuesday morning report and up a massive 137,551 over the past 10 days – the highest 10-day increase since the pandemic began. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 43,449, up 182 from the Tuesday morning statistics. And deaths are at 15,631, up 9 from the Tuesday morning statistics.
