See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,334,198, up 18,942 since the Wednesday morning report and up a massive 173,495 over the past 10 days. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 45,598, up 223 from the Wednesday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,894 – the highest ever in the entire pandemic). And deaths are at 15,785, up 35 from the Wednesday morning statistics.
