David Rothkopf: “all of these abhorrent views, all of these unconscionable positions are held and advanced by one group, one political party” – the GOP

Republicans "should be voted out of every office they hold on the basis of the gun policies they support alone"

See here and below for a brilliant thread by David Rothkopf on the gun violence epidemic.  Read it all, forward it to your state and federal representatives, and most importantly VOTE in every election FOR candidates who support strong gun violence legislation and AGAINST the “one pro-death party in the US…one party that has branded itself with its contempt for human life, for basic rights, for tolerance, for decency.”

Also note that the same party – the *Republican Party* – that perpetuates and worsens the gun violence epidemic in America also, as David Rothkopf pointed out yesterday, should be voted out of every office they hold on the basis of the gun policies they support alone. Or on the basis of their desire to deny women control of their bodies alone. Or on the basis of their attacks on democracy alone. Or on the basis of their support for the most corrupt president in American history (Trump) alone. Or on the basis of their opposition to protecting the climate alone. Or on the basis of their opposition to sound science in defending against the spread of the pandemic alone. Or on the basis of their packing of the Supreme Court alone…”  In short, NEVER vote for any candidate or political party which is against democracy, against climate/environmental protection, against science, against the rule of law, against women’s bodily autonomy, etc, etc. And ALWAYS vote for that party’s pro-democracy, pro-climate-action, pro-rule-of-law, pro-constitution, pro-women’s-bodily-autonomy opponent. It’s really not complicated.
