VA-02 Republicans in Disarray: Primary Opponent Refuses to Endorse Jen Kiggans

Richmond, VA –  It’s trouble in paradise for Republicans in Virginia’s 2nd District.

After a chaotic race to the right and disappointing turnout in the Republican primary, “America First” candidate Jarome Bell refused to endorse craven political opportunist Jen Kiggans for Congress. In a Facebook post, Jarome Bell signaled to his followers that he was not a part of the “Go Along Get Along Gang” refusing to endorse her campaign.

This spells trouble for Kiggans in the upcoming election after VA-02 Republicans “failed to match the party sky-high expectations” in the primary with low voter turnout.

Kiggans already disqualified herself to most Coastal Virginians when she took a hard right turn and aligned herself with ultra-MAGA conspiracy theories and anti-reproductive health care policies to secure the nomination, and now she can’t even coalesce her base.

“Jen Kiggans has a serious problem on her hands,” said DPVA Spokesperson Gianni Snidle. “She’s failed to win the backing of her primary opponent and is struggling with a lack of enthusiasm with her base. Coastal Virginians see Jen Kiggans for who she really is: a spineless political opportunist.”
