FREDERICKSBURG, VA – The campaign of Rep. Abigail Spanberger — a former federal law enforcement officer and CIA case officer — released its latest ad, “Country First.”
In her new TV ad, Spanberger highlights her commitment to responding to the concerns of Virginians, her work to lower prescription drug and energy costs, and her background in public service. Additionally, the new spot highlights her recent endorsement from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Rep. Abigail Spanberger
Politicians need to be more accountable
To the people we represent.
It’s our patriotic duty.
So I do a lot of listening…
and I work with anyone to get…
things done…
Just like I did when I served in CIA…
And in law enforcement…
I know people are hurting…
That’s why we passed a law…
To lower energy bills and prescription drug costs…
And why I pushed through tax cuts for small businesses…
I’m Abigail Spanberger…
And I approve this message…
For me, country comes first.
“My promise to the Virginians I serve is that I will always hold myself accountable to their concerns – and work to respond to their priorities with commonsense solutions in Congress,” said Spanberger. “Right now, Virginians are feeling the impacts of high costs. That’s why I’ve voted to stand up to big pharmaceutical companies, support our small businesses, and lower costs for families and seniors. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with Americans across the political spectrum to put the mission and our country first — and I’m proud to bring that same approach to my work on behalf of Virginia’s Seventh District.”
