This afternoon, President Joe Biden is traveling to Virginia Beach, where he “will discuss his plan to protect Americans’ access to affordable health care, and…will highlight how Congressional Republicans would raise health care costs – including for seniors, and cause millions of people to lose their coverage.” See below for a live video stream, which should start around 3 pm.
By the way, note that when Republicans like the relentlessly dishonest Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA02) falsely/disingenuously claim that Biden is “politicizing” healthcare, keep in mind that this is the same party which for DECADES has relentlessly and viciously has politicized – and opposed – expanding healthcare access, whether at the state level (remember the battles over Medicaid expansion here in Virginia and in other states, several of which STILL haven’t expanded it???) and the national level (“Hillarycare?” “Obamacare?” the “Tea Party?”). The fact is, it’s been the *Democrats* who have fought to protect and expand Americans’ access to high-quality, affordable healthcare, while it’s been *Republicans* who have consistently opposed doing so. Keep that in mind every time you vote!
