Trump Charged with 7 Counts, Including Obstruction of Justice, Conspiracy, False Statements, Willful Retention of National Defense Information, etc.

Glenn Youngkin presumably will be faux OUTRAGED publicly, but privately very happy, as he'll see this as opening up a path for his own presidential run.

Yep, this is the guy about whom Glenn Youngkin in 2021 said, “President Trump represents SO MUCH of why I’m running” and “I was honored to receive President Trump’s endorsement.”

“Federal prosecutors have charged Donald Trump with violating the Espionage Act and conspiring to obstruct the criminal investigation among other counts, according to a person familiar with the matter, a historic development marking the most significant legal peril yet for the former president.

The exact nature of the seven-count indictment is unclear because it remains under seal.

At least some of the counts filed in federal district court in Miami by the office of special counsel Jack Smith include the willful retention of national defense information, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, false statements and concealment under title 18 of the US criminal code, the person said.”

Also note that since 2021, Youngkin hasn’t condemned anything Trump’s said, done, etc. Now, we’ll see how long it takes Youngkin to publicly LEAP to Trump’s defense with OUTRAGE about the latest indictments – while privately, Youngkin will be jumping up and down for joy, as Trump going to prison means that Youngkin will see a path for HIMSELF to run for president, which is obviously what he’s wanted all along…

Anyway, what are your thoughts on Trump being charged with seven counts, including “willful retention of national defense information, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, false statements and concealment under title 18 of the US criminal code,” etc?
