Worried He Will Lose, Trump Uses Pennsylvania Rally to Lie About a Stolen Election, Complain, and Say “I Don’t Mind” If Reporters Get Shot

In a dark, unhinged, and violent speech in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump said, “to get me, somebody would have to shoot through the fake news,” adding “I don’t mind that.”

These remarks follow his comments on Friday that Republican Liz Cheney, who endorsed Vice President Harris, should have guns “trained on her face.”

TRUMP in PA: “Somebody would have to shoot through the fake news. And I don’t mind that.”

The comments were just one part of an angry, alarming, expletive-laden speech:

  • Trump said that he “shouldn’t have left” the White House after losing in 2020
  • Trump called his political opponents “demonic”
  • Trump spent over 20 minutes making baseless, false claims of election fraud
  • Trump vented about a Selzer Iowa poll, calling Selzer an “enemy,” despite previously praising her in December
  • Trump said that it “should be illegal” to release polls that are bad for him

Harris-Walz Director of Rapid Response Ammar Moussa released the following statement:

“As Vice President Harris spent today at church in Detroit, talking to voters about her vision to lift up all Americans, Donald Trump was busy violating the Ninth Commandment. Trump is spending the closing days of his campaign angry and unhinged, lying about the election being stolen because he’s worried he will lose. The American people deserve a leader who tells the truth and will walk into the Oval Office focused on them – that’s Vice President Harris.”
