Courtesy of VPAP, see below for the latest fundraising totals for the second quarter of 2025 – and cash on hand (as of 6/5/25) – for Virginia 2025 statewide and other candidates. These numbers (note: they’re coming in as of Monday evening; lots more tomorrow morning!) will help tell us who the leading candidates are, with just over a week until the Democratic and Republican primaries on June 17. GOVERNOR:

  • Democrat Abigail Spanberger reported receipts of $6.52 million from 4/1 to 6/5; expenditures of $3.19 million; and cash-on-hand of $14.3 million as of 6/5.
  • Republican Winsome Sears reported receipts of $3.52 million from 4/1 to 6/5, expenditures of $4.61 million; and cash-on-hand of $2.96 million as of 6/5.

LT. GOVERNOR

  • Democrat Alex Bastani reported receipts of $142k (almost all self-funded) from 4/1 to 6/5, expenditures of $148k; and cash-on-hand of $27k as of 6/5.
  • Democrat Ghazala Hashmi reported receipts of $743k from 4/1 to 6/5; expenditures of $937k; and cash-on-hand of $462k as of 6/5.
  • Democrat Babur Lateef reported receipts of $374k from 4/1 to 6/5; expenditures of $493k and cash-on-hand of $263k as of 6/5.
  • Democrat Aaron Rouse reported receipts of $660k from 4/1 to 6/5, expenditures of $1.13 million; and cash-on-hand of $452k as of 6/5.
  • Democrat Victor Salgado reported receipts of $17k from 4/1 to 6/5, expenditures of $109k; and cash-on-hand of $13.7k as of 6/5.
  • Democrat Levar Stoney reported receipts of $702k from 4/1 to 6/5; expenditures of $966k; and cash-on-hand of $258k as of 6/5.
  • Republican John Reid reported receipts of $133,768 from 4/1 to 6/5; expenditures of $108,385; and cash-on-hand of $116,373 as of 6/5.

ATTORNEY GENERAL

  • Democrat Jay Jones reported receipts of $934k from 4/1 to 6/5; expenditures of $1.9 million; and cash-on-hand of $493k as of 6/5.
  • Democrat Shannon Taylor reported receipts of $1.09 million from 4/1 to 6/5 (of which about half appears to come from Dominion Energy); expenditures of $1.29 million; and cash-on-hand of $470k as of 6/5.
  • Republican Jason Miyares reported receipts of $1.2 million from 4/1 to 6/5 (of which about $300k comes from Dominion Energy); expenditures of $1.0 million; and cash-on-hand of $2.3 million as of 6/5.

HOUSE OF DELEGATES

  • HD01Del. Patrick Hope raised $201k, had $77k cash on hand as of 6/5; primary challenger Sean Epstein raised $15k, had $23.5k cash on hand as of 6/5; primary challenger Arjoon Srikanth raised $53k, had $8.9k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD22: Democrat Elizabeth Guzman raised $158k and had $201k cash on hand as of 6/5; Republican incumbent Del. Ian Lovejoy raised just $44k and had $45k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD30: Democrat John McAuliffe raised $105k and had $192k cash on hand as of 6/5; Republican incumbent Del. Geary Higgins raised $133k and had $258k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD41: Democrat Lily Franklin raised $189k and had $299k cash on hand as of 6/5; Republican incumbent Del. Chris Obenshain raised just $75k and had just $94k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD57: Democrat Andrew Schear raised $4.0k and had $5.2k cash on hand as of 6/5; Democrat May Nivar raised $99k and had $83k cash on hand as of 6/5;  Republican incumbent Del. David Owen raised $90.7k and had $172k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD71: Democrat Jessica Anderson raised $144k and had $236k cash on hand as of 6/5; Republican incumbent Del. Amanda Batten raised $52k and had $276k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD73: Republican incumbent Del. Mark Earley Jr. raised $43k and had $86k cash on hand as of 6/5; Democrat Leslie Mehta raised $88k and had $43k cash on hand as of 6/5; Democrat Justin Woodford raised $14.6k and had $2.5k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD75: Republican incumbent Del. Carrie Coyner raised $69k and had $315k cash on hand as of 6/5; Democrat Lindsey Dougherty raised $172k and had $56k cash on hand as of 6/5; Democrat Stephen Miller-Pitts raised $4.5k and had $3.9k cash on hand as of 6/5; Democrat Dustin Wade raised $136k (including a $100k loan from Abraxas Home Care) and had $157k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD82: Democrat Kimberly Pope Adams raised $262k and had $289k cash on hand as of 6/5; incumbent Del. Kim Taylor (R) raised $64k and had $34.5k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD86: Democrat Virgil Gene Thornton raised $78k and had $73k cash on hand as of 6/5; incumbent Del. A.C. Cordoza (R) raised just $15k and had $33k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD89: Democrat Blaizen Buckshot Bloom raised $14k and had $2.9k cash on hand as of 6/5.; Democrat Karen Robins Carnegie raised $117k and had $78k cash on hand as of 6/5; Republican Mike Lamonea raised $28k and had $17.8k cash on hand as of 6/5.; Republican Kristen Shannon raised $3.8k and had $13.0k cash on hand as of 6/5.
  • HD97: Democratic incumbent Del. Michael Feggans raised $147k and had $88k cash on hand as of 6/5; Republican challenger Tim Anderson raised $52k and had $61k cash on hand as of 6/5.

Also, Speaker Don Scott raised $344k and had $2.5 million cash on hand as of 6/5.
