Virginia House Democrats Break Record with $11.5 Million in TV Reservations
Richmond, VA —  The Virginia House Democratic Caucus today announced that its candidates have now reserved a record-breaking $11.5 million in television advertising — the largest and earliest reservation in Caucus history.

The latest reservation of $2.5 million across the Norfolk, Richmond, and Washington, D.C. media markets adds to the $9 million the Caucus announced in July. More than $8.8 million of the total is scheduled to air during the critical final three weeks of the election.

“This record-breaking investment shows the strength and determination of our candidates,” said Speaker Don Scott. “ We’re putting unprecedented resources behind our candidates because Virginians deserve leaders who will fight for their freedoms and their future — not politicians who take their cues from Donald Trump.”

“Campaigns are won by talking directly to voters, early and often,” said Del. Dan Helmer, Campaigns Chair. “By locking in $11.5 million in airtime — most of it during the critical final weeks — we’re ensuring Democrats have the megaphone to set the record straight and keep Republicans on the defensive. This is how we win tough races and grow our majority.”

This historic reservation comes just one day after the Virginia House Democratic Caucus announced a $1 million+ investment across all 18 battleground districts — the earliest and largest district-level investment in Caucus history. Together, these commitments underscore the unprecedented strength, unity, and urgency with which Virginia House Democrats are approaching this election.
