Just the thought that this lunatic, Donald Trump, is our president is so disturbing. See below as Trump – on Air Force One last night – answers reporters’ questions about the Virginia AG and governor’s races.
First, here’s Trump on Jay Jones:
“You mean the one that wanted to kill somebody’s children and kill somebody? You mean the animal that wanted to kill somebody who should not be allowed to be running for that office?…No, he’s a third-rate intellect. He’s a guy who I’ve never seen anybody say what he said that he wanted to kill his opponent’s children. He wanted to kill his opponent. No, I can’t imagine anybody voted for Jay Jones. Look, you would think he’s totally discredited. I would think he wouldn’t even be allowed to do that. Anybody would be put in prison for what he said. So he can join the long list of attorney generals that have been suing and losing. But the people of this country want law. They want order. They want safety. They don’t want to be mugged or raped or shot. And that’s what we provide.”
My god, where to even start with this? But seriously, Trump thinks that somebody should be “put in prison” for offensive speech? That would mean Trump himself, and many in MAGA, would have been put in prison a long time ago. But no, that’s not how it works in this country, not what the First Amendment of the constitution says, etc. Also, calling Jay Jones an “animal” is…uh, just a wee bit racist? OK, not a “wee bit.” As for supposedly never seeing disgusting rhetoric by Republicans, that’s just a flat-out/wild lie of course. Just amazing…how the HELL is this no-class-or-dignity dude our president???
Now, here’s the wannabe dictator on Abigail Spanberger and Winsome Earle-Sears, who he still hasn’t formally endorsed.
“I think the Republican candidate is very good and I think she should she should win, because the Democrat [sic] candidate’s a disaster. So, I haven’t been too much involved in Virginia. I love the state. I did very well in the state. But I will tell you, I think the Republican candidate is excellent and I think the Democrat candidate is a disaster. I mean, I watched her in the debate. She couldn’t answer the most basic question. And you know, a big thing with that race and also the race in New Jersey is going to be energy. Both of the Democrats are going to drive the energy prices through the roof. Through the roof. Your energy is going to double and triple. If the Republican gets elected, your energy is going to be coming down by 70%, 80%.”
Just lie after lie after lie in this excerpt: 1) Winsome Earle-Sears isn’t “very good” and she shouldn’t win; 2) Spanberger’s not a “disaster”; 3) Trump lost Virginia three times, in 2016/2020/2024, yet claims he “did very well in the state” – WTF???; 4) Spanberger absolutely answered the questions in the debate, would have been able to get her thoughts out better if Earle-Sears hadn’t constantly interrupted, talked over her, etc; 5) no, energy prices are NOT going to go “through the roof” if Democrats win in Virginia or New Jersey, and NO, they are NOT going to come down 70% or 80% if Republicans get elected there – that’s just completely insane.
