“It’s important for the voters of Virginia to know that Donald Trump is holding a rally tonight to urge the people of Virginia to vote NO. That’s Donald Trump’s position – vote no. Republicans have spent tens of millions of dollars trying to convince the people of Virginia that Barack Obama, President Obama, and that Governor Abigail Spanburger are urging a NO vote. That’s a stone-cold lie. The NO vote position is Donald Trump’s position, as is being evidenced tonight. I hope that this rally is broadcast all across the Commonwealth of Virginia because Donald Trump up until this point has been trying to hide his position. Richmond, Va. — Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson will hold a tele-rally tonight just hours before the redistricting vote — a blunt reminder that this fight is being driven by MAGA Republicans desperate to hold power in Washington.
From Texas to North Carolina to Missouri and Florida soon to come, Republicans have already redrawn maps to rig the 2026 midterms. Now they’re hoping Virginians won’t fight back after Republicans spent nearly $34 million spreading MAGA misinformation in this campaign.
