• “I think the first lady could have done a huge service to the survivors of Epstein’s crimes. If she had come out and said, ‘what the survivors want and  need is transparency. They want all the files released. They want the illegal redactions unredacted. They want President Trump’s Department of Justice to take this seriously and take action and pursue those.’ If the first lady is right, and I believe she is, that Epstein didn’t do this alone, why is President Trump’s Department of Justice not pursuing those who participated or had knowledge of Epstein’s crimes? It would have been a tremendous service to the survivors in the country had the first lady said that.”
• “The ball is in the part Department of Justice’s court to make this right. We need to act. Trump’s Department of Justice needs to act. They need to follow the law, release all the files, unredact the illegal redactions, and pursue those who were involved in Epstein’s crimes.”
• “Chairman Comer set a precedent with the Clintons when they didn’t show up on the day and under the circumstances that he dictated, he moved forward with contempt charges against them. We’re going to have to treat Pam Bondi the same. I still expect that she’ll follow the law as she claimed she would do and show up on April 14th.  If there’s another date in the near future arranged that works for her schedule, I’ll certainly be there and I’m sure my colleagues on the Oversight Committee will as well. But if she’s going to continue to outright defy the subpoena, we’ll have to pursue every legal avenue available to us in the Congress, including contempt charges.”
• “Look, I think President Trump is unhinged. The statements he made with respect to Iran and the threat to quote annihilate an entire civilization would have been the most significant largest war crime in American in modern history in world history ever. He’s out of control and he should be removed from office. You’re absolutely right, there is a 0.0% chance that his Cabinet filled with sycophants would do that or that enough Republicans would join in Congress for us to do that. But I do think it is important to lay out for for the American people and the country that the 25th amendment is an option in the constitution. And I want those cabinet members to have to lay awake at night wondering why they allow this unhinged, reckless president who’s putting the American people at risk, has clearly lost his fastball, if he ever had it, to remain in control.”
• “[Swalwell]  should exit the California governor’s race and he should resign from Congress. The accusations are heinous. They’re very detailed, very credible in my view. He has no business continuing to serve in the United States Congress. His campaign for governor is over whether he realizes yet or not. He should drop out of that race. It’s disgusting.”
