Kiggans praised Elon’s DOGE cuts that uprooted Virginia’s economy and hurt veterans. Now he’s putting his money behind her.

New financial disclosures reveal that Elon Musk is pouring money behind vulnerable Congresswoman Jen Kiggans’ campaign.

Elon’s financial backing of Kiggans comes after she voted to gut Virginians’ health care in order to give massive tax breaks to billionaires and the ultra-wealthy like Musk, and after she championed Elon’s DOGE cuts that uprooted Virginia’s economy and hurt veterans.

The Virginia Mercury previously reported that “Kiggans embraced the program from the outset,” attending an early meeting with Elon. She even called his chainsaw approach “so necessary.” The report notes that Kiggans’ backing of DOGE led to “the termination of more than $8.3 million in grants and leases tied to the district, including funding streams connected to veterans services and facilities.”
