For the record, in no way/shape/form are groups like these “pro-life” (a right-wing propaganda term that Democrats and the media should never use), they are “anti-choice,” “pro-forced-birth,” etc. Other than that, these press releases are spot-on. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe, a 10-year-old rape victim was forced to travel from Ohio to Indiana to receive care since Ohio’s six-week “trigger ban” now bars women and children from accessing abortion even in the case of rape.
The general counsel for prominent anti-choice group National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), Jim Bopp, bragged to Politico about his model legislation that would allow states to force this young girl and others like her to carry their rapist’s child to term. Will Jen Kiggans (VA-02) condemn NRLC’s proposal to force a 10-year-old rape victim to carry that pregnancy to term?
