First, let me give a hat tip to Libertarian blogger Doug Mataconis, who writes, “And now @newtgingrich throws the First Amendment and property rights into the dustbin of history.”
What did Gingrich do this time? Check this out and please explain how this isn’t parody, satire, or snark. As I wrote on Doug Mactaconis’ Facebook page, “that has to be a parody, no serious/sane human being could actually write that.” Doug’s response? “Ummm, this is Newt.”
Doug is absolutely right on this one: Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House and future Republican candidate for President of the United States, is clearly insane. On the other hand, at least he doesn’t make up words and compare himself to Shakespeare like another 2012 Republican frontrunner did recently. What a bunch of [fill in the blank]s! LOL
