“Six years ago, violent white supremacists marched in Charlottesville, spewing hateful rhetoric and bigotry”…and Three People Lost Their Lives

Also, let's not forget that the leader of the GOP said, "you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides."

As Sen. Tim Kaine says, “Six years ago, violent white supremacists marched in Charlottesville, spewing hateful rhetoric and bigotry,” with “Three people los[ing] their lives – Heather Heyer, Berke Bates, and Jay Cullen – and many…injured.” And as Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA07) says, “Today, we honor [Heather Heyer’s] life by rejecting the hatred and antisemitism that led to her death.” Also, former Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn notes that “Together, we can be a powerful force against those who seek to use fear and intimidation for political gain.”

Meanwhile, in stark contrast to those remarks by Democratic leaders, then-President Trump (who continues to be the leader of the Republican Party, one who almost nobody – including Glenn Youngkin – dare to/choose to criticize) infamously and insanely asserted, “you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides.” So yeah, again, THAT person is the leader of today’s Republican Party, just as he was the leader then. So if you support Trump or the Trumpist/MAGA Republican Party, just be aware that those are the (disgusting, evil, dangerous) sentiments you’re aligning yourself with…
