DEBATE DAY: President Obama Knocks Trump’s Obsession with Crowd Size in New Harris Campaign Ad

Obama Remarks at Democratic National Convention Hit Trump for Insecure Obsession with Crowd Size; Stark Contrast with VP Harris Fighting for the People

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “Here’s a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems…”

Ad to Air Nationally on Debate Day on Fox News, Which Trump Is Known to Watch

The Harris-Walz campaign is out with “Crowd Size”, a new ad for debate day that features President Barack Obama ridiculing Trump’s insecurities about his crowd size. This new ad comes just days after a New York Times analysis showed that Trump’s crowds are typically smaller than those of Vice President Kamala Harris – a fact that deeply upsets the former president. President Obama made the remarks in his address at the Democratic Convention last month in Chicago, where he slammed Trump for only “whining about his problems,” instead of focusing on the American people – as part of Obama’s argument that it is time to turn the page on Trump and elect Vice President Harris.

“Trump spends a lot of time concerned about his crowd sizes, but the American people are far more concerned about which candidate will make their lives better – and it’s not the guy running on the Project 2025 agenda,” said Harris-Walz Communications Director Michael Tyler. “Tonight’s debate will present the stark choice Americans will face at the ballot box: between Vice President Harris who is fighting for the people to make our lives better, and the guy who can’t seem to stop obsessing about himself and the size of his crowds.”

Part of Team Harris-Walz’s historic $370 million in digital and television advertising reservations between Labor Day and Election Day, “Crowd Size” will air nationally on cable, including FOX News, as well as locally in media markets like West Palm Beach and Philadelphia. In addition, the Harris-Walz campaign is invoking Philly classics in a paid media buy tomorrow including billboards, a full page Project 2025 ad in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Harris-Walz wrapped food trucks and taxi cabs, sidewalk art, and digital projections – all driving attention to an issue Donald seems to care about more than anything else: crowd sizes.

TRUMP: “Ooh, she had a big crowd! Ooh, that crowd.”

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “This weird obsession with crowd sizes… it just goes on, and on, and on.”

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “America’s ready for a new chapter. We are ready for a President Kamala Harris.”

VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS: “I’m Kamala Harris and I approve this message.”
