From Sen. Tim Kaine’s reelection campaign:
7 Days, 7 Ways Tim Kaine Stands Up For Virginia: Listening To Virginians
Richmond, VA – In the final stretch of this election, the Kaine for Virginia campaign is launching “7 Days, 7 Ways Tim Kaine Stands Up For Virginia” to highlight seven ways Senator Kaine puts Virginia first in the U.S. Senate.
The first way Senator Kaine stands up for Virginia is by turning the ideas he gets from listening to the concerns of Virginians into meaningful legislation that improves the lives of Virginia families.
Senator Kaine has passed meaningful legislation into law named after Virginians, including Brandon Caserta, Dr. Lorna Breen, and Gabriella Miller. And these laws tackle serious issues facing Virginians — from addressing veterans’ suicide to tackling the burnout facing health care professionals and funding pediatric cancer research.
None of this legislation would have come to pass without Senator Kaine listening to Virginians. While Hung Cao puts down Virginians, Senator Kaine listens to Virginians in every region of the Commonwealth and is proud to stand up for them.
“Every day Senator Kaine wakes up, rolls up his sleeves, shows up, and stands up for Virginians,” said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for Kaine for Virginia. “The best ideas Senator Kaine gets are from listening to Virginians and turning their concerns into legislation that tackles serious issues, from tackling the burnout facing health care professionals to funding pediatric cancer research.”
