About House District 42 (Radford and Giles County with portions of Montgomery and Pulaski Counties) |
| House District 42 sits nestled in the mountains of southwest Virginia between Roanoke and Bristol. |
Democratic victory in the seat would require strong turnout in blue precincts around Blacksburg and flipping traditionally red voters in the western half of the district. |
Biko is set to take on Sophomore GOP incumbent Delegate Jason Ballard in November’s general election. Ballard has been one of the most reliable votes for GOP leaders in Richmond, voting along party lines in 96% of all recorded votes. |

About House District 35 (Bath and Highland Counties with portions of Augusta and Rockingham Counties) |
| While it is spread across four counties southwest of Harrisonburg, over 56% of House District 35‘s population resides in Augusta County. |
Without a centralized base of blue voters, a Democratic victory here will depend on flipping traditionally GOP-aligned voters. |
Jena is set to take on GOP incumbent Delegate Chris Runion, who has served in the General Assembly since 2020. Runion is among the most reliable votes for GOP party leaders in Richmond, breaking with the party on only 7% of all recorded votes. |

About House District 77(Portions of Richmond and Chesterfield County) |
| Split almost evenly between the city of Richmond and Chesterfield County, House District 77 is of the the most reliably democratic seats in central Virginia. |
High turnout in this district will be key to powering statewide Democratic victories in November. |
Del. Jones is set to take on GOP nominee Richard Stonage, Jr, in the November election. A manufacturing plant engineer by trade and training, Stonage is working to closely align himself with GOP Lieutenant Governor nominee John Reid. |
