Video: Rep. James Walkinshaw (D-VA11) Checks Out the Reflecting Pool, Finds That “when you give a no-bid contract to your Mar a Lago buddy who runs ‘Greenwater Services’, you get more green water!”

If the Trump regime weren’t so incompetent, corrupt, and destructive, it might almost be funny. And the Reflecting Pool fiasco is a perfect, well “reflection” of all of that – incompetence, corruption, destruction, etc.  With that in mind, check out the following two short videos of Rep. James Walkinshaw (D-VA11), mocking the Reflecting Pool fiasco.

• “I went down there today, I wanted to see the beautiful blue water that Donald Trump promised us. You know, he hired his buddy from Mar a Lago, this Cafaro…guy. Turns out he runs a company called ‘Greenwater Services’.  He hired a guy who runs a company called ‘Greenwater Services’ to make the water blue. Turns out he made the water green. It’s green, algae, smells terrible, total debacle, has the typical corruption we see from this administration; honestly, a perfect symbol of both the corruption and the incompetence of the Trump administration. • “Hey everybody…I decided to come down here to the Reflecting Pool. I heard President Trump promise the American people a beautiful blue Reflecting Pool. I also heard he hired one of his Mar a Lago buddies, guy by the name of John Cafaro who had pled guilty in some cases involving bribery and campaign finance violations. Turns out this guy Cafaro runs a company called ‘Greenwater’ – wait a second, “Greenwater’, that can’t be right…’Greenwater Services’. OK, so, Trump gave a no-bid contract to a guy who runs ‘Greenwater services’ to  turn the reflecting pool blue, but maybe it worked. Let’s check it out! It looks green to me. I guess when you give a no-bid contract to your Mar a Lago buddy who runs ‘Greenwater Services’, you get more green water!”
