Great job by the Staunton Democrats in putting together this excellent Lt. Governor forum featuring Susan Platt, Justin Fairfax and Gene Rossi. To date, there has been far too little media coverage of the Virginia Lt. Governor primaries, both Democratic and Republican, but with only three weeks to go, it’s long past time to change that. I’ve seen these candidates before, and I think they all bring strengths to the table. They have very different styles, bios, etc., also different policy emphases. Anyway, check out the forum – and note that there’s another one tonight at Oakton High School in Fairfax at 6 pm. Check it out if you’re in the area (I’ll post video if it’s available).
