Video: Debate Reveals Stark Differences Between Virginia AG Mark Herring, Right-Wing Extremist John Adams

Great job by Jim Hoeft of Bearing Drift in doing what the corporate media can’t seem to manage: taking video of an important debate (in this case, for Virginia Attorney General, between incumbent Mark Herring and Republican/far-right challenger John Adams). As you can see, there are enormous differences between Herring and Adams. For instance, Adams is against a woman’s right to choose, against LGBTQ equality, against even the most commonsense gun violence prevention measures, anti-Muslim, anti-environment, anti-immigrant, basically the whole Trump/Cuccinelli extreme “nine yards.” In stark contrast, Mark Herring will continue to defend women’s reproductive health and freedom, our communities from gun violence, our civil liberties, our civil rights, etc, etc. The choice couldn’t be starker, in other words — do we want to go lurching backwards or continue moving forwards here in Virginia? If you believe the latter is the answer, then let’s work to make sure Mark Herring wins a landslide victory in November. He’s earned it, and more importantly, Virginia needs it!
