He’s fired. He’s fired!'”). For my part, I’m siding with Stephen Curry, LeBron James and other black athletes standing up for their constitutionally guaranteed rights every day of the week.
P.S. As one response on Twitter to Trump’s tirade last night put it, “President supported by white nationalists tells white owners to fire black NFL players protesting police violence against black people.” That sums it up quite well. Oh, and of course white Republican leaders like VA GOP Chair John Whitbeck leap to Trump’s defense. Hello Ed Gillespie? Any thoughts on YOUR party’s treatment of African Americans, first amendment rights of free speech, etc???
