Video: Del. Hope Commemorates Black History Month, Talks About Freedman’s Village in Arlington

As Del. Hope says: More people should know about the struggles of the villagers and the pioneers of Arlington County. In telling this story, I hope in some small part we can give back their dignity that the institution of slavery robbed from them but also the current generation know of their sacrifices and triumphs over extremely adverse circumstances.
