WATCH: New DCCC TV Ad Highlights Bob Good’s Dangerous Agenda

Today, the DCCC released a new ad in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District, “Dangerous,” which exposes Bob Good’s radical and dangerous agenda that will hurt Virginians.

Bob Good supports a radical corporate tax handout that adds nearly $2 trillion to the debt and threatens Social Security and Medicare. He also wants to raise the retirement age for Social Security, limit benefits, and force Virginians to pay more. But that’s not the end of Good’s radical policies. He opposed the overwhelmingly bipartisan CARES Act, which gave Virginians much-needed relief in the early days of COVID-19 and has advocated for a full repeal of the Affordable Care Act, a decision which would eliminate protections for Virginians with pre-existing conditions.

The ad will air in the Roanoke, Charlottesville, and Richmond media markets.

“Bob Good’s radical agenda is out of touch and out of step with Virginians,” said DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “Good’s policies would fundamentally change Social Security, forcing Virginians to pay more into the program, while limiting the benefits. On top of that, Good supports funneling money directly into the hands of corporate special interests and millionaires and billionaires. Virginians deserve better than Good’s extremism.”
