Eugene Delgaudio: Radical Homosexual Pirates Invade Tampa; Loudoun County Next?

by: lowkell

Fri Feb 11, 2011 at 13:55:16 PM EST

Yes, the guy who wrote this really, truly is on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors (Sterling district).
When the young men are sufficiently intoxicated, homosexuals dressed as pirates whisk them away to God knows where to take advantage of them sexually.

There are even countless stories of any number of immoral sex act being performed by open homosexuals - some even in broad daylight during the event.

Pro-family citizens and churches in Tampa are horrified and unfortunately VASTLY outnumbered and overwhelmed by the popularity of the event.

One mother complained her three year old had witnessed a man performing oral sex on a Jack Sparrow look alike in her front yard.

As long as the Radical Homosexuals run free in our streets, they will continue to spread their debauchery and corrupt our culture.

Well. I don't know about you, but I'm SHOCKED at this behavior, and believe it must be stamped out immediately - by Eugene Delgaudio personally, or maybe with his Public Advocate army (to fight the pirate navy, of course). Anyway, let's just hope these radical gay pirates don't make it out to the peaceful, non-debauched environs of Loudoun County. I mean, you know how those pirates are a hornswaggling collection of picaroons and freebooters. And, shiver me timbers, you know they'd dance the hempen jig on the poop deck with the landlubbers when they've had a few black jacks of grog. I'll tell you, it's enough to make the good citizens of Sterling have the Davies!

UPDATE: For a lot more on Eugene Delgaudio, click here and learn what he thinks of "Thousands of men in bright neon bikinis", the "Homosexual Classrooms Act," his Gay TSA Conspiracy Theory," etc.

Somewhere, sometime in the past - maybe even this morning - Lil' Eugene had some big-time homosexual lovin'.  Come out of the closet, Eugene, ye doth protest too much.

More embarassment (0.00 / 0)
It's because of this guy, and the people who support him (and ally with him, like Dick Black and the LCRC) that I am so passionately committed to the Democratic Party in Loudoun County.

We have some great Democrats vying to run against him this year, like Al Nevarez, and it will be to all our benefit to give them as much support as possible.

Maybe Al should debate Eugene (0.00 / 0)
in a pirate costume? That might throw Delgaudio off his game, ya know? :)

I haven't worn a pirate costume in years, but if they make one in my size...

However, this kind of rhetoric goes way beyond embarrassing Sterling or Loudoun. It's tearing our country apart. The fear mongering and hate has got to stop.

Regardless of how foolish it looks to us, the fact is that his followers are manipulated by this sort of trash, and it's not a stretch to conclude that some of the people who are influenced by this are mentally unstable.

We can't afford to allow fear mongers to continue to enjoy the legitimacy that holding pubic office gives them.

speaking of unstable... (0.00 / 0)
Help those of use who aren't conversant with all the ins and outs (no pun intended) of NOVA  politics out here...what's wrong with this Delgaudio guy ... and why does anybody sensible, Democrat or Republican, take him the least bit seriously?

Why do they take (0.00 / 0)
and elect guys like Bob Marshall, Corey Stewart and Ken Cuccinelli as well?  If we knew that, we could free Loudoun of the whole lot of them.  Dick Black and his crew (Mick Stanton, Howie Lind, Susan Volpe), the Patrick Henry College wingnuts.  There are quite a few of them around.

Not just a VA phenomenon (0.00 / 0)
Why does Glenn Beck have a TV show?  You can't blame that one on the Commonwealth.

Both Beck and Delgaudio are specific examples of fundamentalists, people who believe that our society has gone radically wrong by abandoning some or other foundational value, whether of religion, or governance.  Fundamantalists are having a boom in this country at the moment.

The more general question is why a hugely successful society such as ours is experiencing a boom in fundamentalism.  Why do so many people take any of these fundamentalists seriously?  I can understand why a society that is failing in important ways might have a crisis of confidence that they had gone wrong somewhere, lost their way in the march of history.  It would be natural to blame recent turns for the failure, and diagnose the problem as an abandonment of the values in force back when the society was more successful.

But why would fundamentalism have any traction in a society such as ours, that is arguably the most successful in history in just about any way you could define success?  Why do so many people think that we have left the right path in moving forward?  What deepens the mystery is that it is precisely the people who are doing best in our society who seem most prone to believe that we need a radical return to such imagined foundational values as homophobia lest we fall off some societal cliff, while people that you might think might sour on America because of growing income inequality, are the most likely to be unafraid of the present and future.

I don't pretend to know the answers, but I do know that Delgaudio is not some fluke.

His real agenda (0.00 / 0)
Delgaudio was hired by the Tampa Tourism Bureau to entice visitors to their annual pirate event.  In all probability, nothing remotely as exciting as the events portrayed actually happens there.

Personally, I'm immune to such enticements.  At my age, the folks doing the whisking away would be the ones who would have to be very intoxicated.  Maybe not as drunk as the people who whisked Delgaudio away (He has to be reporting from personal experience.  I can't believe he would just make stuff up!), but plenty drunk all the same.

In the spirit of bipartisanship (0.00 / 0)
Can we all at least agree that if there were homosexuals dressed as pirates whisking away sufficiently intoxicated young men to God knows where to take advantage of them sexually, it would be a problem?

Ok, who cares about Delgaugio (0.00 / 0)
I need to know where the debauchery is taking place! PRONTO!

What I found really (0.00 / 0)
hilarious was this quote:

Pro-family citizens and churches in Tampa are horrified and unfortunately VASTLY outnumbered and overwhelmed by the popularity of the event.

The God-fearing folk are "vastly outnumbered"? Because the opportunity of getting kidnapped and having homosexual acts performed on one is ever so "popular"? Hello? What does Delgaudio have against the free market rule? Not to mention the democratic majority rule/

It's the conservative paradox (4.00 / 1)
They are a persecuted minority, but have the support of the majority of the people.

I never quite heard it expressed like that, but it is true.

Nicely done.

The Original Article and Some Bizarre Tidbits (0.00 / 0)
Being as its Friday, I decided to cruise the internet about this.  I also stumbled across a couple of unrelated interesting articles.

1) This has to be the article this pablum was taken from. Even though it is supposed to make me afraid, I couldn't stop laughing, especially when the writer issued a call to send in federal troops.

2) Unrelated.  The Best 40 Protest Signs of 2010.  I honestly don't know whether to feel anger or sadness for these folks.

3) Unrelated. I have somhow missed the announcement but apparently the apocalypse has been moved up to May of this year.

Well Opps... (0.00 / 0)
This site was so bizarre I looked up more info on it.  It is actually as satirical site, someone better tell Delgaudio.

Crazy People (0.00 / 0)
I used to think that Texas had the largest percentage of crazy people living in a state.  I'm beginning to think that Virginia is surpassing them on this.
What's even scarier is that people who can't think for themselves believe this garbage that people like Eugene Delgaudio spew.
