We need you to stand up and tell Governor McDonnell that the sky-high tolls in his budget are unacceptable.

Next week the Virginia Senate will decide if the state budget should include money to lower the cost of tolls. We need your voice to tell Governor McDonnell no to sky-high tolls.

Governor Bob McDonnell’s band-aid transportation gimmicks are taking Virginia backwards. By signing this petition, you’ll send Governor McDonnell the message that he must put money into Virginia’s budget for these projects to reduce the amount families and businesses will have to pay in tolls.

• In Northern Virginia, unless the state pays its fair share, the Dulles Rail project will be paid for with sky-high tolls. Starting next year, many commuters will be forced to pay over $2,200 per year in tolls.
• In Hampton Roads, if Gov. Bob McDonnell’s plan succeeds, commuters will start having to pay over $1,000 per year in tolls on both the Downtown and the Midtown tunnels this year.
