Jon Stewart Nails Romney, Including Sound Bite of Willard Admitting that Blind Trusts are a “Ruse”

My favorite part of this is when Stewart first shows Romney saying he doesn’t manage the money he has because it’s in a blind trust. But…uh oh, Stewart then shows a clip of Romney completely contradicting that. Yes, the following words came right out of Romney’s own mouth, back when he was at least tangentially still connected to the reality-based universe:

The blind trust is an age-old ruse, if you will, which is to say, you can always tell the blind trust what it can and cannot do; you give the blind trust rules.

Whoops! And no, Willard, you can’t retroactively retract that comment (which happens to be true, by the way). Once again, it’s a total #FAIL by pathological liar Willard “Mitt” Romney. Where the heck did Republican’ts FIND this guy?!? (oh yeah, he was competing against a bunch of escapees from the insane asylum – “999,” crazy-eyes Bachmann, Grand Inquisitor Santorum, Megalomaniac Newt, etc.)
