Rick Perry, a once and perhaps future presidential candidate, has booked a visit to battleground Virginia next month when he'll deliver a keynote address at the state Republican Party's annual winter meeting. Perry is set to address Virginia GOP members on the second night of a three-day of the state party's 30th annual "advance" gathering, held this year at The Homestead, a tony resort in Hot Springs, according to an announcement Tuesday. So -- the VA GOP, in the wake of losing the top three elected seats in the state because they nominated wackadoodle candidates will meet to consider their future . . . by inviting a wackadoodle to make the keynote address. More good news for Democrats.
